A 48-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman will face a number of drug charges after their vehicle was stopped by police on the D’Aguilar Highway in the early hours of  Saturday morning.

Police, who pulled over the vehicle about 3:00am, will allege that a search located a small amount of cannabis.

The couple has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing a controlled substance and failing to dispose of a syringe.

At 6:00pm on Friday, police pulled over an 18-year-old Kingaroy man for a breath test in Mary Street, Kingaroy. He allegedly recorded .054 BAC.

A 38-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with wilful damage after an incident at a Kingaroy hotel on Friday night.

Police were called to a disturbance at the corner of Glendon and Haly streets after the man allegedly smashed a window at the pub after he was evicted.

Kingaroy police were called to a disturbance at the Centrelink office at lunchtime last Thursday.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with public nuisance and obstructing police.

Police will allege the man was behaving irrationally, yelling and being abusive to Centrelink staff and failed to calm down after police arrived.

Police who stopped a 22-year-old man for speeding in First Avenue at 8:30am on Saturday also asked the driver to “blow in the bag”.

He allegedly blew .090 BAC and was also charged with drink-driving.

Police arrested a 42-year-old in Fisher Street, Kingaroy, on Saturday afternoon and charged him with contravening a police requirement.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a car in Kingaroy Street at 7:00pm on Saturday night.
