The South Burnett Saints have continued their winning streak, squashing the Redbacks on the road in Warwick on Sunday.

The final score was 23.20 (158) to 3.4 (22).

South Burnett kept the home team goalless in the first and third quarters, totally dominating possession.

Darling Downs rep squad member Adam Bowater led the way with four goals.

Other goalkickers were Thomas Fowler (3), Paul Pressnell (3), Ty Snow (3), Daniel Rogers (2), Brad Pressnell (2), Joshua Miller (2), Daniel Trace (2), Paul Judge and Scott Ingram.

This was the Saints’ fourth win on the trot, and puts them just four points behind competition leaders University on the AFL Darling Downs Division 2 table.

The Saints’ win in U14s was even more dominant, crushing the Redbacks 24.21 (165) to 1.1 (7).

South Burnett’s next game will be against South Toowoomba on Saturday, June 21, at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.
