Kingaroy SES members have again felt the support and generosity of Kingaroy businesses.

Recently, Work Stuff Kingaroy generously donated a number of sharps containers and mounting brackets to be fitted to Kingaroy SES vehicles.

These containers are a valued addition to the equipment carried in the vehicles, contributing to member safety as well as supporting community safety.

Work Stuff Director Mrs Dawn Page said she greatly appreciates the presence of the SES and the valuable work they do in the community, and was pleased to be able to donate some equipment to the group.

“Your volunteer members do a wonderful job in the community and we are pleased to be able to support you in this way,” she said.

Kingaroy SES Group Leader Peter Verbakel said he was moved by the generosity.

“It’s simply wonderful that we are thought of in this way,” he said.

“Much of our volunteer work is thankless, and it’s businesses such as Work Stuff who restore our faith and commitment. I wish to sincerely thank Mrs Page and Work Stuff for their kind donation.”
