South Burnett Regional Council has notified residents of two more lots of scheduled roadworks that will disrupt traffic in upcoming weeks:

Work has commenced on Franks Road, Blackbutt, which includes a pavement upgrade to a two-lane bitumen seal.
It is anticipated the work will take approximately eight weeks to complete, weather permitting.
During these works, traffic will be disrupted between 6:30am and 3:30pm. Traffic will be reduced to one lane which will be controlled with traffic control and traffic lights.

Work will also commence soon on the Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road at Wengenville.
This work, scheduled to begin next Monday, includes a pavement upgrade of a 700m section to a two-lane bitumen seal. This work is anticipated to take approximately 10 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
During these works Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road will have disruptions to traffic between 7:00am and 4:00pm and traffic will be reduced to one lane.

Wondai, Blackbutt and Benarkin residents will face some disruptions to their water supplies soon to allow the South Burnett Regional Council to do maintenance work.
In Wondai, interruptions to the water supply will occur on Monday (May 19) between 1:30pm and 3:30pm however circumstances may arise that will affect the predicted interruption periods.
The water supply in the Blackbutt and Benarkin area will be interrupted intermittently from Monday, May 26, to Wednesday, May 28.
The interruptions will allow valve and fire hydrant testing to take place.

Council has also advised that the water supply in the Kingaroy area will be interrupted intermittently next week to allow for valve and fire hydrant testing.
The interuptions will occur between Monday, May 19, and Friday, May 23.
Affected residents will receive a flyer with details.
