Catholic Archbishop Mark Coleridge will be visiting Kingaroy on Tuesday, May 27, for a special ceremony at St Mary’s Catholic Parish.
Archbishop Coleridge will officially install recently appointed Fr Nigel Sequiera as the Parish Priest for the Catholic communities of Kingaroy, Nanango, Blackbutt, Cooyar, Kumbia and Yarraman.
All current and former parishioners – and friends of the parishes – have been invited to attend the ceremony, which will be included in the 5:30pm Mass to be celebrated on the day.
Mass will be followed by a light supper in St Mary’s hall.
Fr Sequeira was ordained a priest in St Stephen’s Cathedral, Brisbane, in June 2011.
He was born in Tanzania and formerly worked as a news producer.
