Rockhampton speedway driver Trent Langley is back at home recovering after a spectacular rollover which occurred at the Lucas Oil Kingaroy Speedway on Saturday night.

Langley, 25, was racing in a heat of the Street Stocks Queensland Title when his mauve Holden rolled.

After being removed from the vehicle, he was taken to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance and then flown by the RACQ CareFlight helicopter to Toowoomba Hospital for scans.

It was initially feared he may have fractured a vertebra in his neck.

However, Langley later thanked family and friends on Facebook and said “scans all good just been little squashed so time to get well and spend much needed r&r”.
