Three former St Mary’s Catholic College students are making their mark in their tertiary studies, winning Academic Achievement awards at the University of Southern Queensland.
Athina Cantle, from Blackbutt, graduated from high school in 2011 and is studying a Business degree majoring in Human Resources.
She received the Academic Achievement Award for the highest grade point average in her field across the residential colleges.
Athina will be finishing uni at the end of this year and hopes to get into training and development.
Max Sutton, from Nanango, is studying a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Relations. He will be graduating at the end of 2016.
Max, who left St Mary’s in 2011, received an Academic Achievement Award for the highest GPA in Laws in the residential colleges. He also earned the Best Wilson Family Law scholarship
Sara Vinci, who graduated from high school in 2012, is studying a Bachelor of Education majoring in Visual Art and English.
She received the Academic Achievement Award for Education. Sara has two more years of her degree left to study.
