The last speedway meeting in Kingaroy for the current racing season will be held in conjunction with the annual Kingaroy Show on Saturday, May 3.

Racing will start at 4:00pm and will feature the inaugural Spencer Race Engines Queensland Title for Street Stocks as well as a round of the Thunder Series for Late Models.

There’ll also be racing by Modified Sedans, Junior Sedans and Wingless Sprints.

Admission prices includes all the fun of the Kingaroy Show:  Family $30, adult $10, age pensioners $8, high school students $8, primary school students free.

The South Burnett Speedway Club has released its calendar of events (subject to change) for the 2014-15 season:

  • September 13 – Modified Sedans, Production Sedans, Junior Sedans, Street Stocks, Late Models
  • October 11 – Super Sedans, Late Models, Production Sedans, Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders
  • November 15 – Late Models, Modified Sedans, 4 Cylinders, Formula 500s
  • January 1-3, 2015 – Late Models (2015 Australian Championship), Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, Lightning Sprints (TBC), AMCA Nationals (TBC), Production Sedans, Junior Sedans
  • January 23-25, 2015 – Kings Royal meeting. Modified Sedans, Junior Sedans, Production Sedans, 4 Cylinders, v8 Sprintcars (Peanut Crown), Formula 500s
  • April 11, 2015 – Super Sedans, Street Stocks, Production Sedans, Junior Sedans
  • May 2, 2015 – Late Models, Modified Sedans, Street Stocks, Junior Sedans, Wingless Sprints (TBC)
