Wondai Regional Art Gallery will be holding its annual Garden Expo Art Competition next month to coincide with the Autumn Wondai Garden Expo.
The theme is “Gardens of the South Burnett” and cash prizes will be awarded to artists: $200 (1st), $150 (2nd), $100 (3rd), $50 (People’s Choice).
The winners will be announced on the opening night, which will be held next Friday (April 4) from 6:00pm.
The $5 entry on the night will include hot and cold supper and punch. Wines will be available to purchase from Captain’s Paddock.
Artworks from students at Kingaroy State School will feature in Kidz Corner.
After the opening night, the exhibitions will remain on display at the gallery throughout April.
The gallery is open seven days a week, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and entry is free.
