RACQ CareFlight Rescue teams from Bundaberg and Toowoomba visited the South Burnett overnight, airlifting a baby and an elderly man in separate medevacs.

CareFlight’s Bundaberg-based crew, with a Mater Children’s Hospital Pediatric team on board, flew to Cherbourg to pick up a baby girl with a respiratory infection.

She was flown back to the Mater Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The Toowoomba crew airlifted an elderly man with an abdominal condition from Murgon back to Toowoomba Base Hospital.
