The Yarraman Anglican community entertained some special visitors this morning, recently retired Anglican Bishop to the Australian Defence Forces, Bishop Len Eacott, AM, and his wife Sandy.

Bishop Eacott is currently serving as locum Bishop to the Western Region of the Anglican Brisbane Diocese awaiting a replacement for Right Rev Robert Nolan.

One of his first duties in his new position was to officiate at the 8:00am Lenten Eucharist at St Philip’s Anglican Church in Yarraman this morning.

Afterwards the Anglican community hosted a morning tea in the parish meeting room.
