The Rotary Club of Kingaroy is looking to recognise tourism workers in its latest round of its Pride of Workmanship awards.

The club is calling for nominations for excellent workers in any of the region’s varied tourism-related businesses.

“One nominee will be awarded a trophy of a high quality four-colour metal badge mounted on a rosewood timber-tone back, engraved with the awardee’s name, presenting club and the date,” Club president Damien Tessmann said.

Rotary is promoting Pride of Workmanship to local businesses through the theme of “Do it once – do it well” to help employees and business owners achieve the goal of job satisfaction.

Nominations should be emailed to Val Hooper by the end of the month.
