Three South Burnett rugby league teams will be heading north on Saturday for the annual “Clash For Cash” at Mundubbera.
The all-day round-robin pre-season competition will feature eight teams competing for $2000 in prize money.
Wondai, Murgon and Cherbourg will come up against teams from Eidsvold, Monto, Mundubbera, Woorabinda and Maryborough.
Play kicks off at 1:00pm at Martin Love Oval in Mundubbera with the final beginning about 7:00pm under lights.
Admission is $5.
Mundubbera Rugby League president Gavin Ford said the competition had been running for about 20 years .
The event will be a good opportunity for the South Burnett sides to take a look at their Central Burnett counterparts whom they will be playing as part of a group competition during 2014 season.
