The distributors of a new blockbuster movie The Monuments Men have granted exclusive preview rights in Australia to Rotary International to benefit the service club’s Polio Plus campaign.

The Rotary Club of Kingaroy will host a preview at the Kingaroy Satellite Cinema on Thursday, March 27, from 6:30pm.

Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6:00pm and these will be included in the ticket price of $20 per person.

Tickets can be purchased at the cinema or at the Pioneer Lodge Motel in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy.

The movie is about a group of World War II soldiers charged with rescuing art masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their owners.

It stars George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon and Bill Murray. It is a mixture of drama, action and comedy which should appeal to a wide audience.

Everyone is invited to attend this function to support the campaign to rid the world of polio.

This campaign has been successful in decreasing the incidence of polio in the world by 99 per cent and now there are only three countries in the world where the disease is still prevalent. Join in and be part of a worldwide public health revolution.
