Motor sports in the South Burnett have been keeping the RACQ CareFlight chopper crews busy this weekend.
After airlifting two injured rally drivers on Saturday, today they were called to Cooyar to assist an injured motocross rider.
The 23-year-old Moreton Bay man told the CareFlight crew he crashed while approaching a jump at Motocross Mountain shortly before midday.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter from Toowoomba’s Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre flew to the scene.
A flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic treated the man for leg and possible spinal injuries.
He was flown to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Later today, RACQ CareFlight Rescue flew to the aid of another injured dirt bike rider, this time on a private property north of the Bunya Mountains.
The incident occurred when the 41-year-old Dalby man lost control of his bike late this afternoon.
The flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic treated the man for chest and possible spinal injuries.
He was airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition, accompanied by his wife.
