A 26-year-old Wurtulla man has been airlifted to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition after he crashed his motocross bike near Cooyar this morning.

An AGL Action Rescue Helicopter spokesman said the man was riding on a motocross track when he lost control coming down a hill.

He broke his leg in the fall.

The man was stabilised by the helicopter’s flight doctor and flight paramedic before being flown out.

A 62-year-old Ballogie man was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition after he crashed his motorbike on the Burnett Highway yesterday afternoon.

The man was riding to Biloela when he apparently lost control about 10km north of Monto.

The AGL helicopter’s flight paramedic treated the man for possible spinal injuries.
