In a great coup for our region, Nanango will take on 2013 Toowoomba Premier League Grand Finalists, Willowburn, on Saturday March 15 in Kingaroy at 5:00pm.

In Round 1 Nanango had a bye while Willowburn defeated Chinchilla 6-0.

In Round 2 Nanango defeated Gatton 2-0 while Willowburn defeated last year’s Toowoomba Premier League Premiers USQ 6-3.

The Football Queensland Cup is part of the FFA Cup.

The winners of the Kingaroy game will go on to play our local NPL side South West Queensland Thunder, with the winner from that game going on to represent SWQ Zone against the winner from the Gold Coast section.

The match will be a real test for Nanango but with a large partisan crowd fans from all South Burnett clubs, they may get over the line.

There will be full bar, barbeque and canteen facilities available.

Get down to the Kingaroy Soccer Grounds at the end of Oliver Bond Street on Saturday evening and support our local boys against Toowoomba’s best, and watch some pretty exciting football at the same time.
