A 64-year-old Nanango man has been flown to Nambour Hospital suffering chest pain after a two-vehicle collision near Goodger this morning.

The man was trapped in his white Mitsubishi utility and had to freed by emergency personnel.

Police said the driver and passenger in the other vehicle, a black Toyota ute, were not injured.

The incident occurred at the corner of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road and Goodger-Kunioon Road about 6:15am.

Police believe one of the vehicles failed to give way at the intersection and was T-boned.

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter landed at the scene and paramedics treated the driver for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police, fire brigade and Kingaroy ambulance personnel attended the scene.
