February 18, 2014

Debbie Lyon, from Woods Murdoch Solicitors, is the the January Pride of Workmanship Award winner honoured by the Kingaroy Rotary Club.

The Pride of Workmanship Awards recognise workers in various fields of employment.

During January nominations were called from employers and the public for excellent administrative support staff.

Debbie received her award at Monday’s Rotary Club meeting.

The February category is “Professional Services”. This could be a tax agent, dentist, legal adviser, community nurse or another professional who does a great job well.

“This is an opportunity for employers and customers to publicly recognize workers worthy of an award,” club president Damien Tessmann said.

The program will continue throughout the year with workers in different vocations eligible to be nominated.

Nominations should be emailed to Val Hooper by the end of February.
