Ten fire crews were called to a grass fire burning at Glan Devon, north of Nanango, at lunchtime yesterday.
The fire was burning in grassland near Lanigan Road but no structures were under threat.
After conducting backburning, firefighters had the flames under control by 1:40pm.
They left the blackened area in the hands of the landholder to monitor at 2:30pm.
