Toowoomba Regional Council today released its schedule of “Friday visits” by councillors to different towns around the region and Yarraman appears to have missed out.

Yarraman and Cooyar residents will have to travel to Crows Nest to meet up with councillors.

The visits offer regular, informal opportunities for residents to meet and discuss Council-related issues with elected representatives.

The ongoing monthly schedule of visits, from 9:30am-11:00am:

  • First Friday: Oakey (service centre) and Highfields (Cultural Centre)
  • Second Friday: Clifton (library) and Millmerran (service centre)
  • Third Friday: Crows Nest (service centre meeting room) and Pittsworth (service centre)
  • Fourth Friday: Goombungee (service centre) and Greenmount service centre district (venue to be advised)

Phone 13-18-72 to make an appointment or arrange for a delegation to discuss topical issues.

NB. Councillors will also be at the Cooyar Show on February 22 to speak with residents.
