Motor racing is in the blood for Kingaroy’s Carroll family, with three generations now officially petrol heads.
The “Vette Racing” team consists of grandad Denis, who is currently building a land speed Corvette to take part in dry lake racing in South Australia, son Paul (Formula Vees) and grandson Matthew (Karts).
But Matthew – who has his eyes set on a career in Formula 1 – is now changing gears.
The family took delivery of a new Formula Vee car in Brisbane last weekend which Matthew hopes to race at Morgan Park and Lakeside.
