Wild Horse FM presenter Melanie Doheny is looking for special guests for a new weekly arts and culture radio show she will be hosting on Thursday evenings.
“Thursday Evening Arts” will be a weekly, one-hour radio show produced in Yarraman. It will feature interviews, performances and profiles of local and visiting artists to the region.
“It will be presenting fresh perspectives on the traditional to engage artists and arts audiences alike,” Melanie said.
“Guests will share their story and a personal selection of music that has a connection to key moments in their life.”
The program will debut in early February but production has already commenced.
Melanie said sponsorship was being sought for the program from major sponsors and funding bodies in the region.
Opportunities for outside broadcasts are also possible.
