Kingaroy batsman Anthony Eden is one of only three Queenslanders who have been selected to play in the Australian Country XI.
Selectors named the team this week following the conclusion of the Australian Country Cricket Championships played in the ACT.
The championships, which involved teams from throughout Australia and the East Asia Pacific region, was won by West Australian Country in the narrowest of margins over South Australian Country.
Queensland Country finished fourth on the ladder.
