Community Liaison Officer Caley Quinn was introduced to the Yarraman community last June by Bronwyn Holland

January 15, 2014

Caley Quinn has resigned from her role as the Toowoomba Regional Council Community Liaison Officer for the Crows Nest and Yarraman Districts.

Ms Quinn, who took up the position last May, has been accepted into a Graduate Diploma of Teaching at Griffith University.

In an email to Yarraman residents this week, Ms Quinn said the qualifications would assist her to become a Special Education Teacher. She said the move would also allow her to be closer to her partner who recently accepted a job in Brisbane.

She will finish with Toowoomba Council on January 29.

“Working at Toowoomba Regional Council has been an enriching and rewarding experience,” Ms Quinn said.

“I have enjoyed working in a dynamic team and with passionate communities and community leaders.

“I thank you all for the support you have given me during my time in this role and I have continuously admired the work you all do to better the community. I wish you all the very best for the future.”
