A mother and her five-year-old son were taken to Kingaroy Hospital for observation after a Toyota sedan and a Toyota LandCruiser collided in Kingaroy yesterday afternoon.
Both were released shortly afterwards.
The smash occurred about 3:30pm on Thursday on the corner of Kent and Albert streets.
The driver of the sedan, a 75-year-old woman, was issued with a ticket for failing to give way.
