A funeral service will be held next Tuesday (November 12) for well-known former Kingaroy teacher Betty Castree.
Mrs Castree, who was a teacher at Kingaroy State School for 33 years, has been living at Canowindra in recent years.
She died on Wednesday, aged 90.
She is survived by a son, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at St Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, in Alford Street, Kingaroy, from 9:30am.
