The South Burnett bowlers tossed everything they had at Fraser Coast with no luck

The South Burnett had mixed results in its representative matches played last Sunday.

In the A Grade Goodchild Shield match,  played at Lyle Vidler Oval, Fraser Coast defeated the South Burnett XI in a six-wicket victory.

The South Burnett were all out for 226 in the 50th over.

Dan O’Connor top-scored with 59, with Tony Dugdell (45) and Brendan Weil (42) also making a good start.

Fraser Coast bowler Adam Kratzmann tore through the South Burnett, taking 4/52 off his 10 overs.

Mitch Manski took 2/30 from five overs.

In reply, Fraser Coast made their target with plenty of overs and wickets to spare.

They passed the South Burnett score in the 41st over to finish with 3/229.

Fraser Coast’s best batsmen were Tony Andrews (62 n/o) and Adam Kratzmann (73).

Steve Collins made a handy 41.

Three South Burnett bowlers shared the wickets: Tony Dugdell 1/31 from 10 overs; Tim Linnane 1/27 from 6 overs; and Wayne Kelly 1/44 from 7 overs.

South Burnett had more success in the U16 match played against Gympie.

The home team was all out 157, with Brayden Clark (50) and Mitch Bunker (29) top scoring.

Gympie were dismissed for 121.

Best of the South Burnett bowlers was Mitch Bunker, who took 5/33, and Brayden Clark (3/24).

South Burnett won by 36 runs

The semi-finals of the T20 competition were played on on Friday night.

Wondai downed Crusaders and Kingaroy RSL were too good for Warriors, setting up a Wondai v Kingaroy RSL final.

Wolves’ batsmen Clayton Graham strikes out against the bowling … on his way to scoring 25

In the A Grade match played at Wondai between between the Wolves and the Kingaroy Warriors, the home team won the toss and elected to bat.

The Wolves were all out for 157 off 33 overs. Top scorers were Matt Stumer (59), Clayton Graham (25) and Luke Hedges (21).

For the Warriors, Mitch Bunker took 5/36, Brodie Dionysious 2/31, and P. Templeton 2/31.

In reply, the Warriors made 6/162 off 32 overs.

Dan O’Connor made the bulk of this, finishing 83 n/o.

Best of the Wolves’ bowlers were Dan Stumer (3/36), D. Stimpson (1/30) and Clayton Graham (1/37).

Warriors won by four wickets.

Colts took on Warriors in a B Grade game played at Murgon Sportsground.

Colts were dismissed for 64, with Aaron Van Der Kolk (15), Trent Riddell (11) and Tom Langton (10) all making a start.

The Warriors’ bowlers tore through the batting. James Dundas finished with took 3/21 off  four overs; Troy Miller (2/5 from five overs) and Peter Sorensen (2/9 from 3.3 overs) also finished with outstanding figures.

Warriors passed the target in just 17 overs, finishing with 2/67.

Paul Clegg was 20 n/o; Matt Nesbitt (17) and Steve Heness (14 n/o).

Colts’ bowler Jamian Cuuran finished with 1/13 from four overs and Aaron Van Der Kolk took 1/19 from four overs.

Warriors won by eight wickets.
