Hivesville Country Market celebrated their 4th birthday last Sunday with a very successful market.

Cr Kathy Duff was presented with a Certificate Of Appreciation for her guidance and continued support of the markets plus a Hivesville Market Hat (as is the custom with Cr Duff, these were pink).

Cr Duff was accompanied by the Shire’s latest Cr Ros Heit (Division 6).

There was live music supplied by Val & Noel McGrath, from Blackbutt.

Once again the Proston Line Dancers displayed their talent, doing two demonstrations. Something new for the markets was a excellent demonstration of Tai Chi from the ladies of the local area.

If there is anyone interested in learning Tai Chi, the club meets every Tuesday at the Hivesville Oval. Contact Cathy at the Proston Clinic for details.
