St John’s Lutheran School’s trivia night fundraiser on Saturday has ended up well and truly in the black … raising just over $3500 to support the upgrade of classroom laptops.

The school hall was filled for the “Black & White” Trivia Night, with 19 tables of guests struggling to get the answers to the tricky trivia questions displayed on the large screens.

“A special thanks must go to Mr Peterson and Mrs Tunstall for their outstanding work compering the night and to the fundraising committee for the time and energy given in the organisation of such a successful event,” one of the organisers, Justine Francis, said.

“Well done to the overall winners, team No 10 – which included a selection of teachers from our school- who took out the evening’s honours as well as to all the raffle and game prize winners.

“Finally thanks must go to all the business sponsors who kindly donated the extensive array of prizes on the night.”
