Melanie Doheny, from Yarraman-based business HorseTraxOz, will be hosting a grant-writing information workshop next month at Heritage House in Millar Street, Yarraman.
The workshop is designed for not-for-profit groups in the South Burnett who need help with grant applications.
It will be held on Sunday, November 10, from 2:00pm.
“The workshop will run through some compliance requirements, how to get supporting documents together and tips on where to find that grant,” Melanie said.
She has been writing and assessing grant applications since 2007.
“With funding pools becoming smaller and budgets shrinking, competition for funding is becoming tighter and grants just need to be better quality,” she said.
“This introductory workshop will give people some leads and tips on how to unravel the grant application processes.”
Cost is $10 and bookings are essential; email Melanie for catering purposes.
