Durong Bowls Club will be hosting a casual, fun-filled day of bowls next Saturday (October 19) as a fundraiser for breast cancer research.
It will start with morning tea at 9:00am for a 9:30am kick off.
There will be a barbecue lunch and afternoon tea and an early finish so participants can get home at a reasonable hour in daylight.
Organisers have asked that bowlers come in “fancy dress” with a heavy emphasis on “pink”.
There will be prizes for the best/most creative outfits.
A multi-draw raffle will also be on offer so bring plenty of money to support a very worthy cause.
All proceeds of the day go to the “Chicks in Pink” organisation.
The bar will be open from 10:00am.
