A 24-year-old thief will spend two months in jail after pleading guilty today in Kingaroy Magistrates Court to a break-and-enter at Sengs Sales and Service in Kingaroy.
Blake Ian Kinsela also admitted unlawfully breaking into a vehicle and stealing.
Police Prosecutor Sgt Wayne Bushell said Kinsela had a prior conviction for burglary in 2008.
“The community is sick and tired of people breaking into their premises,” he said.
Police alleged Kinsela took items from a JJ Richards truck, tools from an unlocked shed and attempted to steal fuel.
Magistrate Mark Bucknall sentenced Kinsela to six months’ jail on each of the three charges, to be served concurrently, and set a parole release date of November 26.

A man charged with murder over the death of Renee Todd in Kingaroy in April this year has been remanded to re-appear in court on January 9, 2013.
Glen Brian Duggan, who is in custody, appeared by videolink in Kingaroy Magistrates Court today.
He also faces a charge of producing dangerous drugs, possessing a dangerous drug, and possessing a drug utensil.

Disqualified driving and driving under the influence has led to a Kingaroy man ending up in jail.
The court was told Cameron James Owens had four previous drink-driving convictions and three previous disqualified driving convictions.
Magistrate Mark Bucknall sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment, to be suspended after three months.
