RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to evacuate an injured man this afternoon from the Manar Park motocross track near Proston.

The Brisbane man, aged in his 30s, was injured after crashing his bike about 1:00pm.

A CareFlight spokesman said the man suffered trauma injuries and was in need of urgent medical care.

The Sunshine Coast-based helicopter flew to the park where a flight doctor and flight paramedic treated the injured man before he was stabilised and airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
