Taabinga Rotary Club’s major fundraiser – and local book lovers’ favourite weekend of the year – is on again at Kingaroy Town Hall.
The 2013 Bookarama will be held this Saturday and Sunday (September 21-22) with thousands of secondhand books brought in from outside the South Burnett available for purchase at bargain prices.
The Town Hall will be open from 9:00am-4:00pm on Saturday and 9:00am to noon on Sunday.
Funds raised will go to assist Kingaroy Meals On Wheels and various Rotary projects.
Most books will be sold for between $1 and $3. Boxes of children’s books will be available for $5.
There will also be a raffle and a sausage sizzle.
For more information, or to donate books, contact Darryl on 0408-718-843 or Paul on 0447-485-246.
