The Burnett Softball Association will be holding a “Have A Go Day” on Saturday (September 14) at the softball grounds in Burnett Street, Nanango.
Beginners and experienced players of all ages are welcome to come along and sign-up for the upcoming season.
There’ll be free “Have A Go” games, a jumping castle, face-painting and a sausage sizzle.

This is just the first in a series of activities that Burnett Softball is planning.
On Saturday, October 5, they’re running a Burnett Softball Batter Up development program at the grounds in Nanango.
Softball Batter Up is a fun, skill-based development program.
It will run from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Cost is $54 which includes a softball and a softball glove, but the first 25 registrations are free.
Registrations must be received by September 23.

On Saturday, October 19, the Burnett Softball Summer Season commences.
Individual and team registrations are being taken now.
Children may be eligible for the State Government’s $150 voucher under the “Get Started” program.
Season fees are $50 (primary school students), $80 (secondary school) or $100 (all other participants).

On Saturday, November 23, the Burnett Softball Festival will be held at the Burnett Street softball grounds.
There will be a junior “Come and Try Clinic”, and Open Age OzPitch tournament, showbags, jumping castle etc.
A fun Patriots Exhibition Game will also be played.
