Kingaroy Kindergarden

Kingaroy Town Hall looked resplendent on Saturday night as card lovers from all over the South Burnett jostled for a prime position on the roulette tables for Kingaroy Kindergarden’s “Cards, Canapes and Cocktails” fundraiser.

The Kingaroy Kindergarten, which is run by a parent volunteer committee, held its major fundraiser under the glittering lights of the town hall.

The casino-themed ball was a huge success as guests enjoyed a variety of card games with no risk to their real money which they used for the live auctions.

The event was catered for by Judy Crawford of JC Catering.

There was never a dull moment local musician Lloyd Black belted out some tunes, only stopping for the Flair bartender who wowed the crowd with a spectacular 3m flame.

The kindergarten looks forward to its official opening of its new community building with a celebration fete which will be held at the North Street premises on October 26.

If you wish to donate to the running of this essential service or to book a stall at the fete please contact organiser Denise Blake on 0418-536-392.
