The Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts’ Club will be giving away eight free driving lessons at their display at this year’s Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Festival.

The Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts Club was established in 2007 by a handful of dedicated car enthusiasts.

“Apart from the social side of the Club, the more important objectives of the Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts Club are to promote safe driving practices and support the local area,” club president Steve Benson said.

“We are very lucky to have the support of Dugie’s Driver Training, one of our local driver training companies to provide the driving lessons.”

Dugie’s Driver Training is a local, family-operated business providing lessons to learner drivers.

“When Steve asked for our support again this year, we were more than happy to support this club and the festival,” director Linda Dugell said.

“We love the Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts Club’s objective of promoting safe driving practices. It aligns very well with our passion and mission.”

The competition is open to all learner drivers aged between 16-19 (as at September 8, 2013) who live in the localities of Blackbutt, Benarkin, Yarraman or Nanango.

To enter, visit the Blackbutt Car Enthusiasts Club’s car display at the Bloomin Beautiful Blackbutt Festival on Saturday, September 8.
