The Saints  have finished their season with back-to-back home wins

The South Burnett Saints have finished their debut season in the Darling Downs AFL competition by recording their second victory over fellow newcomers Chinchilla.

The Saints were ahead at each change, and except for a brief period in the second quarter, were never challenged.

The half-time score was 12.19 (91) to 6.4 (40).

At full-time the South Burnett had pulled even further ahead: 21.23 (149) to 7.8 (50).

The Saints’ goals were kicked by Brad Edwards 7, Paul Pressnell 5, Mitch Cush 3, Keiran Snow 2, Alexander Totton, Braeden Snow, Dylan Bowater and Adam Bowater.

Best players were Adam Bowater, Dylan Bowater, Brad Edwards, Mitch Cush, Nathan Trace and Paul Pressnell.

At the end of fixtures, the Saints finished ninth on the ladder after recording four wins, including two in the past three weeks.
