Kingaroy State High School held its inter-house athletics carnival last week.
All students who were placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their age group in the track or field events have now gained selection in the school team to contest the South Burnett athletics on August 30.
Youngman house emerged victorious at the end of the carnival on 1584 points, defeating Palmer on 1326 points, Lavarack on 1246 and Bradfield with 985.

The school’s rugby league teams will be in action tomorrow (August 14) at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy.
The 18 Years boys will be playing the final in the Wide Bay Southern Anglo American Broncos Challenge against Gympie State High School from 4:00pm.
From 3:00pm, the 15 Years teams will be playing Burnett State College in their Grand Final.
The 13 Years team are taking on Murgon SHS from 2:00pm.
