Two people suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on the Bunya Highway near Kumbia this morning.

A 64-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were stablised by ambulance crews and taken to Kingaroy Hospital before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

The woman suffered knee, hip and head injuries; the man had spinal, chest and shoulder injuries.

Emergency crews were called to the scene about 8:50am.

An ambulance spokesman said it appeared to have been a single vehicle crash.

UPDATE July 1, 2013: Police confirmed two motorcycles were involved in the incident.
