A large crowd packed into the Yarraman Community Hall on Saturday morning to enjoy the Yarraman Kindy’s annual Cent Auction.

The popular event is one of the major fundraisers for the Toomey Street kindergarten and always features a wide range of prizes.

The doors opened at 8:00am to allow visitors to inspect the range of goodies on offer early and pick out their favourites.

At 10:00am, the auction began in earnest, with everything from holidays to hairsprays up for grabs.

The kindy also offered visitors a great morning tea.

Everyone seemed to be having a great time … especially those tables loaded up with “loot”.

Tanecia, 13, and Zane Brooymans, 10, from Upper Yarraman, were helping in the canteen

Jean Hobbs and Jan Bagdonas, from Yarraman, were having loads of fun
