Condamine proved a game too far for the Thrashers rugby team on Saturday, downing the South Burnett team 36-3.

After notching up three straight wins, the Thrashers met the Cods in Condamine which was always going to be a big ask.

Sadly, a fourth victory in a row was not to be.

All teams in the Downs Rugby Union competition will have a bye next weekend.

The Thrashers’ next game will be a home game against Goondiwindi which will be played from 1:30pm on Saturday, June 15, at St Mary’s Oval in Kingaroy.
