The Kingaroy Twilight QCWA branch held their monthly meeting on Wednesday evening, May 15.
The ladies acknowledged the Queen, and recited the Motto and Creed.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted. With no financials to read the meeting voted to open an account with the Kingaroy ANZ bank with two of the executive to sign.
International officer Kym gave a great report on the geographic position of the country of study, Turkey.
Discussions were on holding a Turkish dinner to celebrate an International Evening at a later date involving family, friends and other branches.
Julie will investigate whether the branch could hold a stall at the 100th Celebrations of the Heritage Precinct.
A Fundraising Dinner was also discussed.
Some of the members will attend the Central Region Meeting to be held at Kingaroy RSL on the 4th – 6th June.
At the end of the meeting the office bearers received their badges from Division Vice President Lois.
Due to family commitments, Secretary Jodie has stepped down from her position a new Secretary will be elected at the next meeting.
The June meeting will be held on the 19th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the 1913 room at the rear of the Information Centre Kingaroy.
