Kingaroy Police are urging drivers to obey traffic signs … and in particular “Stop” signs.
“Stop signs are an important part of traffic management,” a police spokesman said.
“They are placed at strategic locations to allow the safe movement of traffic and assist drivers and pedestrians to safely travel on the road.
“Penalties apply for failure to comply with the Stop sign road rules.
“Remember: Always stop and give way to other road users at a Stop sign at an intersection.
“Stop, Give Way, Be Alert and Take Care!”
