Growing The Burnett will be holding a seed planting workshop tomorrow (April 6) to assist local residents interested in share farming and food production.
The workshop will be held at 12130 Bunya Highway, Memerambi, from 8:30am to noon.
There is a free morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Immediately after lunch, a Share Farming and Ag-Workforce seminar will be held from 1:00pm at the same location.
This is an opportunity for people who would like to become food producers – as well as landowners who want their land to become more productive – to find out what employment and self-employment opportunities may be available.
A second forum covering the same topics will be held on Sunday from 1:00pm.
