Road Closure at Rogers Drive, Kingaroy
SES volunteers diverting highway traffic at the intersection of Rogers Drive and the D’Aguilar Highway this morning

The D’Aguilar Highway has re-opened following a fatal crash this morning near Kingaroy.

A 76-year-old Blackbutt man died and two women were injured in the crash that blocked the D’Aguilar Highway for several hours just east of the town.

The incident, involving a 4WD and a sedan, occurred about 10:10am, east of the Rogers Drive intersection.

Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene.

A 75-year-old Blackbutt woman who was driving one vehicle, and a 28-year-old Taabinga woman who was driving the other, were both taken to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment.

SES crews were stopping traffic at the Rogers Drive intersection but access to Harvey Norman and the other Rogers Drive stores remained open. Other road blocks were set up near Edenvale South Road and Coolabunia.
