Endeavour Foundation’s Kingaroy Kitchen Production Manager Tim La Budde … the kitchen was upgraded with assistance from the Tarong Community Partnership Fund

April 9, 2013

Stanwell is calling for applications for the latest round of funding under the Tarong Community Partnership Fund.

“We want not-for-profit community organisations with a project in the final planning stages to make contact with us to discuss their projects and apply to the fund,” Fund Executive Officer Nicole Connolly said.

“The kind of projects the fund prefers to support are expected to deliver long-term benefits and improvements in employment, access to critical services, educational opportunities and social connectedness.”

Previous South Burnett projects supported by the fund include the upgrade of a commercial kitchen that provides employment for people with disabilities and additional medical equipment for emergency services.

To be eligible for funding, you must show that your project:

  • Is in the final planning stages (this includes evidence of permits and building approvals);
  • Will be overseen by a registered (incorporated) organisation; and
  • Will create something enduring and/or tangible for the South Burnett.

Applications close at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 23.

Since it began in 2008, the fund has granted more than $1 million to community projects in the South Burnett.
