The South Burnett Thrashers hit the road to Goondiwindi on Saturday for the first round of the B Grade Downs Rugby Union competition.
Unfortunately, the Emus proved too strong at home, defeating the South Burnett 45-14.
Next week, the Thrashers will have a week off as they have the bye round.
On April 20, they’ll be travelling again, this time to face Highfields.
