A funeral service will be held this afternoon in Kingaroy for Glyn Crumpton, founder of Crumptons Peanuts.
Glyn began G Crumpton & Sons in the early 1960s, opening a peanut shelling facility at Crawford.
He died on March 30, aged 87.
The funeral service will be held from 1:00pm today at Virgo’s Funeral Home Chapel at Taabinga Cemetery.
